Review
It turns out our couple hunting Maiku was really were after something else, each other.

With the help of President Morino, Tsubaki schemes to get Maiku on the ball game festival committee. The opportunity gives her some alone time with Maiku without his clingy relatives in the way.

With the threat of dreadful consequences over their heads, Karen and Miina are forced to give Maiku the chance to prove his stoicism. They send a pint-sized spy in Mr. Marie to keep an eye on them. All seems to be going well until Marie's tummy gets the best of him. A fumble, a grope, and a slap later, Tsubaki is out the door and Maiku is left stunned. Even more surprisingly, Shimazaki confronts Maiku and reveals his true feelings ... for Tsubaki!

After the ball game festival is rained out, Maiku, Karen and Miina decide to go into town together and have some fun. However, each of them has a slightly different idea of fun. The situation puts Karen and Miina each alone with Maiku at different times, and sets them dangerously close to breaking the love alliance.

At the end of the shopping day, Miina runs into an old friend from her past. The encounter distances her from Maiku and Karen as each wonder what secret she is carrying.

The three episodes here were a pretty strong set, finishing out the second story arc and leading into the series climax. The first and second episodes on the disc had some very funny moments, Marie again provides some great physical comedy in the first episode and the second has some good situational comedy, but the laughs are starting to take a backseat to the love triangle. The situation is a little unfortunate - but expected - as the series begins to draw to a close.

Please Twins is a good love story and drama, but I feel it is a better comedy. It seems that after disc 2, each episode begins to get a bit less racy and more dramatic. It doesn't make it less enjoyable ... I just really like the comedic aspects of this series above all else. To be honest, I am really anxious to find out which girl is the stranger and which is the twin - and I have my suspicions as to that answer.

I'm looking forward to finishing this one off. One more disc to go in this great series!
