Man oh man, sometimes there comes along a bit that is too good not to share. I had this sent to me earlier today from a buddy of mine out on the west coast. Gregg & Evan Spiridellis over at www.jibjab.com came up with this nice little bit of satire. Now I promise not to delve too much into the political arena in my rants, but this makes fun of both sides of the fence… and is, in my opinion, a classic example of good Web animation. A parody of Woody Guthrie's "This Land," these boys have pitted our two presidential candidates against one another in a melodious dual. Great work.
There can be a problem with popularity though… it can be difficult to keep your site up if the world learns of your successes. Even the mirror at Atomflims is dead at this point.

Well here it goes, after much thought and anticipation, I am finally getting this site up and running. It's going to be ugly for a while, but AnimationUnlimited will be devoted to animation of all types, and with the power of the Internet, bring goodness to people everywhere. AH hahahaha!
… Or something like that. Seriously folks, if things go as I envision, AnimationUnlimited will be the site to congregate and get information on animation of all types. From early classics from the Warner Bros and Disney eras to modern marvels coming out of Japan and elsewhere, we will not limit ourselves to one genre or type of animation (though some may get preferential treatment due to my viewing habits).
As for who I am? Well, that will someday be in the about A/U page. I have my reasons for wanting to do this, and taking over the world is only one small part of it.
So without further ado, let's get started!
